📰 News: Twitter Introduces Ad Revenue Sharing Program for Verified Creators

According to recent updates, Twitter has implemented a payment system where creators receive a portion of the ad revenue generated from ads displayed in replies to their posts. Twitter Blue subscribers, who have consistently accumulated over 5 million tweet impressions per month for the past three months, are eligible to participate in this program.
Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, has announced that the initial wave of payments for creators will reach a total of $5 million, covering cumulative earnings starting from February. These payments will be processed through Stripe.

Several notable Twitter creators have shared their earnings details, emphasizing their significant value. For instance, Brian Krassenstein, with an audience of approximately 750,000 followers, reveals earnings of $24,305 from Twitter. Similarly, SK, a creator with around 230,000 followers, states earnings of $2,236, while political commentator Benny Johnson, with 1.7 million followers, reports earnings of $9,546.
Nevertheless, specific criteria govern the eligibility of creators to earn income through this program. Twitter's content monetization standards clearly state that sexual content cannot be monetized. Additionally, creators are prohibited from monetizing content pertaining to "pyramid schemes or get-rich-quick schemes" (especially directed at crypto spammers), violence, criminal activities, gambling, and drugs and alcohol. It is also strictly forbidden for creators to attempt monetizing copyrighted content that they do not own.
